Marina Ferrari defends French non-profit tax exemptions

French Minister of Sports, Youth, and Associative Life, Marina Ferrari, has emphasized the importance of protecting tax exemptions for non-profit associations. Speaking in a recent interview, she defended the sector against critics amidst a difficult budgetary environment.

Ferrari highlighted that many public policies rely on associations to function effectively, noting that the relationship between the State and the associative world is built on trust and financial support. She specifically mentioned the role of organizations such as Restos du Coeur, Secours Populaire, and Secours Catholique in supporting the French population.

Addressing criticisms regarding the scale of funding provided to associations, the Minister defended the millions of citizens who volunteer their time, stating that the work performed by these groups is essential to the country's social fabric.
