Marina Gourmet festival begins in Marina di Ragusa

The third edition of Marina Gourmet, an enogastronomy festival organized by the Comitato del Gusto, has commenced in Marina di Ragusa. The event, which runs through Monday, September 21, aims to promote seasonal tourism and celebrate local food and wine culture.

During the opening activities, wineries presented various labels for tasting along the Andrea Doria seafront, allowing for direct interaction between producers and enthusiasts. In Piazza Duca degli Abruzzi, the organizing committee held a presentation event attended by a large audience. During the ceremony, President Sergio Magro honored Pinuccio La Rosa, the late founder of the association and the festival format, describing him as a fundamental guide for the organization.

Scheduled activities include a masterclass by Matteo Gallello titled ‘Mediterranean temperament and territoriality,’ live culinary demonstrations by local chefs, and musical performances by Suddeka and Guglielmo Tasca.
