Marina Heredia performs at the Bienal de Flamenco de Sevilla

Flamenco singer Marina Heredia is performing her latest work, ‘¡En libertad! El Camino de los Gitanos’, at the Teatro de la Maestranza as part of the XXIV Bienal de Flamenco de Sevilla.

Accompanied by the Real Orquesta Sinfónica de Sevilla under the direction of maestro José Trigueros, the performance aims to reclaim the tradition of blending flamenco with a symphony orchestra. The production explores the history of the Romani people, tracing their journey from India through Nazi concentration camps to their arrival in Spain six hundred years ago.

The show features a second flamenco-focused segment with contributions from artists including Eva Yerbabuena, Jaime Heredia ‘El Parrón’, and David Dorantes.
