Marina Militare Nastro Rosa Tour 2026 concludes in Genoa after Portoferraio stage

The sixth edition of the Nastro Rosa Tour – the Giro d’Italia a Vela – wrapped up in Genoa from July 10 to 12. The final regatta, held in the historic Porto Antico and the Villaggio della Vela, determined the overall champion after 13 days of offshore racing along the Italian coast.

Earlier in the tour, the Portoferraio leg saw the Guardia di Finanza crew claim first place, with the Aeronautica Militare finishing second and the German Verein Seglerhaus am Wannsee third. The event featured offshore, in‑shore and wing‑foil races and attracted both Italian and international crews, including Olympic athletes and youth skippers.

The Genoa finale included a public programme of talks, workshops and safety demonstrations, such as the U‑SAFE rescue drone and the PROMED dolphin project. Over 20 young participants visited the local maritime museum and the port authority facilities, highlighting the tour’s focus on maritime education and cultural promotion.
