Marina Militare Nastro Rosa Tour 2026 launches from Venice

The sixth edition of the Marina Militare Nastro Rosa Tour, Italy’s national sailing race, was presented in Venice on 5 June. The tour, covering more than 1,250 miles along the Adriatic, Ionian and Tyrrhenian coasts, will start on 4 June from the San Marco Basin and finish in Genoa.

The event combines three sailing disciplines – offshore, inshore and foil – and gathers Italian and international crews, including Olympic athletes, ocean‑skippers and young talent. Admiral Domenico Guglielmi, commander of the Maritime Military Institute, said, “Una manifestazione che si è evoluta in appena sei anni, ha raggiunto un livello tecnico molto elevato e la Marina Militare è molto contenta di essere partner principale.” CEO Riccardo Simoneschi added that the three disciplines are “l’offshore, l’inshore e le tavole”.

Beyond competition, the 2026 tour focuses on “Giovani, Mare e Futuro – Valore Paese Italia”, offering educational activities on maritime culture, environmental sustainability and sea safety, and is supported by the Ministry for Sport and Youth, the 2026 Mediterranean Games organising committee, the Italian Sailing Federation and CONI.
