Marina Silva honored in Mauá and supports new Workers' Caucus

Marina Silva, a former Minister of the Environment and Senate candidate for São Paulo, was honored with the title of ‘Cidadã Mauaense’ by the Mauá City Council. The distinction was proposed by councilman Wagner Rubinelli and was also awarded to state deputy Rômulo Fernandes and Moisés Selerges, former president of the ABC Metalworkers' Union and candidate for the Chamber of Deputies.

In a separate political development, Marina Silva announced her support for the ‘Bancada dos Trabalhadores e Trabalhadoras’ (Workers' Caucus). This initiative, created by Moisés Selerges, aims to unite representatives in Brasília dedicated to defending labor rights. The proposal seeks to establish a parliamentary front in the National Congress. The caucus has already received support from several prominent figures, including President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva and various federal deputies.
