Marina Stavrakis has shared a message regarding parenting and privacy following her son Alexandros's name day. In a social media post, Stavrakis emphasized that meaningful parenting does not require public displays, photographs, or personal promotion to prove a parent's presence in a child's life.

She stated that children should not be used as ‘trophies’ or ‘tools for personal promotion’ to demonstrate parental involvement to others. Stavrakis noted that a parent who is truly present in a child's daily life, needs, and dreams may appear ‘invisible’ to the outside world, contrasting this with those who seek public validation through social media.

The remarks follow a public post by Giorgos Patoulis, which included a photograph of him and Alexandros. Stavrakis expressed her desire to respect her son's privacy by not posting images of him, instead focusing on wishing him health, strength, and love.
