Marine Le Pen names Andrej Babiš a key EU ally

Marine Le Pen, a leading figure of the French National Rally, has identified Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babiš as a significant ally within the European Union. During a meeting of the Patriots for Europe parliamentary group in Brussels, Le Pen stated that Babiš will help advocate for national interests and redirect European policy to better serve citizens.

Babiš, whose ANO party is a member of the Patriots for Europe group, met with other prominent right-wing leaders including Tom van Grieken of Vlaams Belang, Viktor Orbán of Fidesz, and Santiago Abascal of Vox.

Parallel developments regarding the ANO movement highlight its shift toward conservatism and its connections to right-wing networks. The youth organization Mladé ANO has engaged in international cooperation with various political actors, including participation in events in the United States and Hungary, as the party continues to strengthen its ties within the Patriots for Europe framework.
