Marine service providers secure new contracts with Paradip Port and Petrobras

Knowledge Marine & Engineering Works has secured a work order valued at Rs 11.41 crore from the Paradip Port Authority. The five-year contract involves the hiring of a 25-knot speed patrol-cum-chase boat, including the provision of a manning crew. This agreement brings the company’s total disclosed order book to Rs 132.22 crore.

In a separate development, Intermoor has been awarded a third contract by Petrobras in less than a year. The three-year agreement focuses on inspection, preservation, maintenance, and operational readiness services for subsea interconnection, mooring, and anchoring materials. The scope includes non-destructive testing, surface treatment, and the maintenance of components such as chains, anchors, and connectors. Intermoor will also utilize 20,000 m2 of dedicated storage space at its Açu Port yard to manage materials undergoing maintenance.
