Mariners pitcher Bryan Woo struggles on road in loss to Texas Rangers
Seattle Mariners right‑hander Bryan Woo continued his road difficulties as the team fell 7‑1 to the Texas Rangers at Globe Life Field. The loss extended Seattle's losing streak to four games and left the Mariners 51‑54, 2.5 games behind the Rangers for the AL West lead.
Woo has been dominant at home (6‑0, 2.20 ERA) but is 1‑7 with a 6.52 ERA on the road. After allowing three extra‑base hits in the first inning, he was tagged for three runs. Veteran infielder J.P. Crawford said the club is “frustrated” but must keep working toward the season’s end. Seattle’s upcoming road trip includes a stop in Los Angeles against the league’s leading team.
The defeat also dropped the Mariners to third in the division, trailing the Astros who have won five straight.
