Maringá conducts asphalt resurfacing on Avenida Pedro Taques
The Maringá City Hall, through its Secretariat of Infrastructure, Cleaning, and Civil Defense, is conducting asphalt resurfacing works in the Avenida Pedro Taques region, near Praça Monsenhor Bernardo Cnudde.
Due to the services, Avenida Pedro Taques will be fully closed in both directions between Avenida Colombo and Avenida Bento Munhoz da Rocha Neto. The surrounding area of the square and its access points will also remain closed during the work hours. Local mobility authorities have advised drivers to use alternative routes and have registered the closures on the Waze app to assist with traffic planning.
Since the beginning of 2025, the municipality has resurfaced 141 kilometers of roads using 124,000 tons of asphalt, representing an investment exceeding R$ 71 million. The initiative aims to improve pavement conditions and enhance safety for all road users.
