Maringá FC secures historic Série B promotion and Série C final spot

Maringá FC has secured historic promotion to the Brazilian Série B for the 2027 season following a 2-0 victory over Floresta at the Willie Davids Stadium. Goals from Ronald Camarão and Paulinho sealed the win, which, combined with Santa Cruz's defeat to Botafogo-PB, also guaranteed Maringá a spot in the Série C final.

In the other group, Ferroviária and Inter de Limeira have also secured promotion to Série B. Ferroviária advanced to the Série C final after defeating Inter de Limeira 2-0, while Inter de Limeira earned promotion despite the loss due to a 1-1 draw between Brusque and Paysandu.

The final match of the Série C will be contested between Maringá and Ferroviária. The conclusion of the second phase was marked by delays, as matches in Group C were temporarily suspended due to structural safety concerns at the Arena Simon in Brusque, requiring subsequent rescheduling to finalize the standings.
