Maringá Fiscal Management Council installs new representatives
The Maringá Fiscal Management Council has inaugurated two new representatives for the 2026/2029 term. Claudete Cristina Iwata, appointed by the Housing and Condominium Union (Secovi), and Agnaldo de Jesus Rossini, appointed by the Union of Private Educational Establishments of Northwest Paraná (Sinepe), took office during a ceremony at the Municipal Palace.
The council is responsible for monitoring and evaluating the management of municipal public resources to improve financial administration transparency. During the ceremony, Mayor Silvio Barros emphasized the need to balance fiscal responsibility with social protection, noting that the administration must distinguish between intentional delinquency and financial incapacity to prevent vulnerable families from losing their homes.
