Maringá prepares for Maringá Encantada 2026 festivities
Preparations are nearing completion for the Maringá Encantada 2026 event in Maringá, Paraná. Mayor Silvio Barros stated that the renovation of the plaza in front of the Cathedral is scheduled for delivery by November 10, allowing sufficient time for final setup before the official launch on Saturday, November 14.
Key attractions for the year-end celebration include the “Big Mônica” installation, a large-scale character from Turma da Mônica, and various activities at Vila do Limoeiro. Other scheduled highlights include a Christmas tree, a light tunnel on Getúlio Vargas, and ice skating at Mandacaru.
Local hotels are reportedly nearing full capacity due to high demand, particularly surrounding a scheduled performance by the band Jota Quest. Officials expect the event to be the largest of its kind in the interior of Paraná, drawing significant tourism from the region and other states.
