Marino hosts traditional grape and pastry festivals

The town of Marino in the Castelli Romani region is hosting traditional food and cultural festivals. The 102nd Sagra dell'Uva features historical parades with period costumes, knights, and flag throwers, alongside local customs such as the 'Miracolo delle Fontane,' where white wine flows from fountains.

Additionally, the 29th edition of the Sagra della Ciambella al Mosto celebrates the region's signature sweet. This traditional pastry, made with flour, extra virgin olive oil, passerina grapes, and fresh must from Marino DOC grapes, is currently undergoing a process to obtain IGP (Protected Geographical Indication) status. The event includes tastings, artisanal markets, and musical performances in the historic center, specifically around Corso Trieste and Piazza San Barnaba.
