Mario Aparicio renews with Burgos-Burpellet BH until 2027

Spanish cyclist Mario Aparicio has officially renewed his contract with the Burgos-Burpellet BH team through the end of 2027. This extension marks his seventh season with the club.

Aparicio’s decision follows a historic performance during the 2026 Vuelta a España, where he finished 14th in the general classification. This achievement represents the best historical result for a rider from the Burgos-Burpellet BH team in their eight participations in the race.

In addition to his success at La Vuelta, Aparicio’s recent season included a fifth-place finish at the Clásica de Pascua, 14th at the Tour of Slovenia, and 13th at the Vuelta a Burgos. His profile as a climber and stage racer has established him as a key pillar for the team.
