Mario Balotelli, the striker for Al Ittifaq in the United Arab Emirates, has directed a question to Roberto Vannacci via an Instagram story. Balotelli, a former player for Inter and Milan, tagged the founder of Futuro Nazionale and asked, “Io per lei sono italiano?” (Am I Italian to you?).

The footballer clarified that his inquiry was not intended to be polemical, but was instead driven by a “pure thirst for opinions.”
