Mario Cimarro faces domestic violence allegations and claims of Telemundo blacklist

Cuban actor Mario Cimarro, best known for his role in the telenovela “Pasión de Gavilanes,” is confronting a series of domestic‑violence accusations filed in 2025. The allegations arise as his divorce from Slovak model Bronislava Gregušová proceeds; Gregušová has returned to Slovakia with their daughter following a court decision.

Cimarro also alleges that the Spanish‑language network Telemundo has blacklisted him since the end of the second season of “Pasión de Gavilanes.” He says the network has prevented him from obtaining work in the United States and Mexico, recounting a recent audition rejection in Miami that he attributes to his accent and to the alleged veto.

He is quoted as saying, “Telemundo a mí no me deja trabajar en ninguna parte. Yo estoy vetado por ellos,” and, “Yo te hago el acento de donde sea, pero dame tiempo.”
