Mario Frustalupi revitalizes Cesena FC in 1970s

Mario Frustalupi, a veteran playmaker who previously won a Scudetto with Lazio, revitalized Cesena FC during the mid-1970s. Despite arriving in Romagna at age 34, Frustalupi helped transform the provincial club into a significant competitor in Italian football.

Under the guidance of coach Pippo Marchioro, the team implemented unconventional methods for the era, including mental preparation techniques such as autogenic training and the use of classical music.
