Peruvian TV host and former reality‑show participant Mario Hart said he was diagnosed with a small benign tumor in his pituitary gland about a year and a half ago after experiencing an intense headache. Medical imaging confirmed the lesion, and doctors opted for medication rather than surgery. Hart reported that the treatment stabilized his hormone levels and that he continues regular check‑ups.

He shared the details during an interview on Magaly Medina’s podcast, also mentioning that the diagnosis came shortly before his separation from model Korina Rivadeneira. Hart emphasized that he is recovering well and managing his emotions after the health scare.
