Mario Hosen to perform in Plovdiv for music festival

Renowned violinist Mario Hosen will open the autumn edition of the ‘Music Days in Balabanova House’ festival with a concert on September 15 at the Episcopal Basilica in Plovdiv. Under the theme ‘Vienna Meets Milan’, the performance will feature musicians from the Vienna Philharmonic and Milan’s La Scala.

Joining Hosen is Austrian pianist Kristina Miller, a Bösendorfer artist recognized for her high achievements with the legendary Austrian pianos. Hosen, a Plovdiv native, will perform on a 1749 Guadagnini violin provided by the Austrian National Bank. His career includes solo performances with major global ensembles such as the London Symphony Orchestra and the Vienna Symphony Orchestra.
