Marios Iliopoulos flies AEK fans from Crete to Athens by helicopter

AEK Athens administrative leader Marios Iliopoulos provided a helicopter transport for two fans to attend a match against Iraklis. The fans, who were on vacation in southern Crete, encountered Iliopoulos while swimming at a local beach.

One fan, Tasos, a season ticket holder, was invited to change and join the flight to Athens within 39 minutes. A second fan, Odysseas, who resides in Germany, also recognized Iliopoulos and was invited to join the trip. The two fans traveled by helicopter to the Allwyn ARENA, where they watched the match from a suite, and subsequently returned to Crete by helicopter that same evening.
