Marios Lolos to pursue legal action over anonymous allegations

Photojournalist Marios Lolos has announced he will pursue legal action following anonymous allegations made against him. The claims, which were originally posted on the Indymedia website and subsequently circulated widely on social media, accuse him of being a rapist and abuser.

In a social media statement, Lolos denied the allegations, describing them as a “cannibalistic targeting” and an attempt to “murder his character” in the eyes of society. He stated that the accusations do not align with his personality or professional ethics. Lolos emphasized that the judicial system is the only way to address those involved in what he calls an unethical attempt to destroy his reputation.
