Maripá worker critically injured in truck accident

A 25-year-old worker was seriously injured in Maripá, Paraná, during the transport of a wooden house. According to local reports, the man was positioned on top of the structure to assist in lifting power lines using an improvised plank to allow the truck to pass underneath.

During the operation, the worker reportedly lost his balance and fell from the house, subsequently being struck by the truck. Emergency teams provided initial assistance, and the victim was intubated due to a hemopneumothorax—a condition where air and blood collect in the chest cavity. He was transferred via helicopter to a medical facility for specialized care.
