Marist women's volleyball defeats Manhattan in four sets

Marist University women's volleyball defeated Manhattan University in four sets on Saturday at McCann Arena. The Red Foxes won the match with set scores of 18-25, 30-28, 25-23, and 25-10.

Manhattan took the opening set 25-18, led by kills from Katie Powers and Emma Francesconi. However, Marist responded to win the second set 30-28 and the third set 25-23. The Red Foxes dominated the final set 25-10 to secure the victory, bringing their record to 9-9 overall and 4-1 in conference play.

Individual standout performances for Marist included Caelyn Dumas, who recorded 43 assists and 13 digs, and Mallory Reck, who contributed 14 kills and 12 digs. Cecilia Potter-Pessoa led the defensive effort with 16 digs.
