Maritim Malaysia seizes 600 suspected drug-laced vape cartridges in Johor

The Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (Maritim Malaysia) seized over 600 vape cartridges suspected of containing ‘piu-piu’ liquid during an operation in the waters of Senggarang, Johor.

The seizure occurred after patrol teams spotted a suspicious fiber boat. Upon noticing the maritime authorities, the suspects fled the scene in the vessel. Officials recovered a black bag containing the cartridges, with an estimated total value of RM160,000.

Authorities have sent liquid samples to a laboratory to confirm if the substance is a type of drug. The seized items have been moved to the Batu Pahat Maritime Zone Headquarters for further investigation.
