Meanwhile, on Lake Constance, emergency services responded to a critical situation involving a disabled sailboat near Lindau. On Friday afternoon, a vessel with seven people on board drifted uncontrollably toward Bregenz due to wind speeds of five to six and waves reaching 1.5 meters. The Wasserwacht Lindau deployed rescue boats to intercept the vessel, which was in a potentially life-threatening situation. The sailboat was eventually towed to safety and moored in the harbor with assistance from the Bregenz fire department.
