Maritime events expand in Croatia and Montenegro

The Biograd Boat Show is expanding its exhibition space at Marina Kornati to accommodate more exhibitors due to ongoing reconstruction work in Biograd. The upcoming edition is expected to be a record-breaking event, featuring over 400 exhibitors and 500 new vessels. To facilitate business, organizers are introducing the Biograd B2B application, which includes a business directory and a meeting scheduling system. Additionally, the event will host the Croatia Luxury and Adventure Travel Show (CLAS) and the 10th anniversary of the ‘HGK Days of Croatian Nauticality’ congress.

In Montenegro, the Museum and Gallery Tivat has opened an exhibition titled ‘Small Fish, Big Sea’. The exhibit focuses on sardines and anchovies to explore Mediterranean life, traditional fishing, and the necessity of preserving marine ecosystems. Supported by the Institute of Marine Biology of Montenegro, the exhibition utilizes modern technology, including VR presentations, to connect cultural heritage with contemporary environmental issues such as biodiversity and climate change.
