Maritime Launch Services receives conditional TSX listing approval

Maritime Launch Services has received conditional approval from the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX) to list its shares under the symbol MAXQ. The company, which develops Spaceport Nova Scotia near Canso, plans to transition its trading from Cboe Canada to the TSX once all customary listing requirements are met. CEO Stephen Matier stated the move is intended to increase the company’s visibility within Canadian capital markets.

The spaceport is transitioning from development to operational execution. The facility is being prepared for both civil and defense missions, supported by a $200 million federal government commitment to lease the site for 10 years for Department of National Defence operations and allied use.

Additionally, Maritime Launch has advanced its partnership with Germany’s Isar Aerospace. The two entities have finalized a work plan and programmatic milestones for a dedicated launch complex intended for Isar’s Spectrum rocket. While the company has faced previous delays, it aims to conduct its first orbital launch from the Nova Scotia site by 2028.
