Maritime rescue in Spain and search for missing fishermen in Dominican Republic

In Algeciras, Spain, three migrants of Maghrebi origin were rescued from a kayak in the bay. The small vessel was spotted by a passing ship, triggering a joint operation involving a port pilot boat, the Guardia Civil, and Salvamento Marítimo. The individuals were brought safely to shore around 8:00 AM.

Meanwhile, in the Dominican Republic, the Navy and Air Force are conducting search operations for two Dominican fishermen who have been missing since August 13. The fishing vessel, named Vaneisy, departed from La Barca port in San Pedro de Macorís but failed to return as scheduled. Authorities are utilizing naval units and aircraft to search the area.
