Maritimo expands presence with S50 yacht launch and Caribbean brand revival

Australian boat builder Maritimo is expanding its market presence with the Americas debut of the S50 Sedan Motor Yacht. The 50-foot vessel is scheduled to launch at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show in late October 2026.

The S50 features twin Volvo Penta D13 diesel engines, offering standard 800 horsepower or a 1,000hp option. The design emphasizes practical engineering and a single-level layout connecting the cockpit, aft galley, salon, and helm.

Additionally, the iconic Caribbean brand, reimagined by Maritimo founder Bill Barry-Cotter, is returning to the Melbourne Boat Show from October 15-18, 2026. The showcase will feature two new models: the Caribbean 40F Flybridge Cruiser and the Caribbean 27F Flybridge. These models aim to combine the brand's traditional deep-V hull and offshore capabilities with modern layouts for fishing and cruising.
