Mariusz Wach to fight six opponents at Poland's PRIME 18 event

Polish heavyweight Mariusz Wach, who previously faced former world heavyweight champion Tyson Fury in Thailand, lost the bout after seven rounds due to injury. Following that defeat, organizers of the PRIME 18 Summer Festival have scheduled Wach for an unconventional match on 8 August in Koszalin, Poland. The fight will pit him against a six‑man "Gypsy Team" under K‑1 rules with small gloves, allowing two team members to be in the ring simultaneously and to be swapped at any time. The event, held at the Ignacy Jan Paderewski Amphitheatre, will also feature bouts such as Arkadiusz Tańcula versus Paweł "Scarface" Bomba and several other fighters.

The Slovak coverage notes that the Fury–Wach encounter was viewed as a warm‑up ahead of Fury's anticipated clash with Anthony Joshua, and highlights the growing prominence of the Professional Muaythai League (PML) in Europe.
