Mark and Evette Moran Nib Literary Award longlist announced

The longlist for the 25th annual Mark and Evette Moran Nib Literary Award has been announced. Administered by the Waverley Council, the award recognizes excellence in various writing forms, including poetry, fiction, history, biography, non-fiction, and philosophy, with an emphasis on high-quality research.

The shortlist is scheduled for announcement on September 8th, with each shortlisted author receiving the Alex Buzo Shortlist Prize of $1,500. The final winners, including the $40,000 Mark and Evette Moran Nib Literary Award and the $4,000 Nib People’s Choice Prize, will be revealed on November 19th.
