Mark Consuelos undergoes foot surgery for arthritis

Mark Consuelos, co-host of ‘Live with Kelly and Mark’, announced on September 25, 2026, that he is undergoing surgery to treat arthritis in his toe. Consuelos revealed that he had been postponing the procedure for approximately one year.

During the broadcast, Consuelos mentioned he was scheduled to undergo the operation immediately following the show. He expressed frustration regarding the medical requirement to fast for 24 hours prior to the surgery. His wife and co-host, Kelly Ripa, confirmed she would accompany him to the procedure, jokingly noting her intention to record his reaction while coming out of anesthesia.
