Mark Cuban: AI to automate healthcare bureaucracy, not replace doctors

For instance, CVS Health has launched an AI-enabled claims assistance manager to reduce processing times, and Evernorth, linked to Cigna, uses AI to halve treatment wait times. Additionally, UnitedHealth Group aims to reduce prior authorization volumes by 30% by the end of the year through technology.

To ensure effective integration, Cuban advocates for doctors to actively guide patients in using AI tools and suggests that private practitioners should be supported in configuring large language model (LLM) assistance systems to manage workloads.
