Mark Cutifani resigns from Woodside Energy board

Mark Cutifani has resigned from the board of Woodside Energy after serving a seven-month term. In an announcement made to the ASX, Cutifani stated his decision was based on personal reasons as he reassesses his global professional commitments.

Cutifani has accepted a position as a non-executive director on the board of gold miner Northern Resources. Shareholders are expected to vote on his appointment in November.
