Mark Harmon to reprise Gibbs role in ‘NCIS: Origins’ Season 3

CBS has released a trailer for the third season of the prequel series ‘NCIS: Origins’, revealing that Mark Harmon will reprise his role as Leroy Jethro Gibbs in every episode of the upcoming 10-episode season.

The new season, which premieres on October 6, will feature a dual narrative. In the present day, Gibbs’ peaceful retirement in Alaska is interrupted by ‘ghosts from his past’, prompting him to return to duty. The storyline will run parallel to 1992 sequences where the team works to rescue Agent Randy Randolf following his abduction at the end of season two.

In addition to the return of the elder Gibbs, the trailer highlights character developments for the 1990s-era team, including the aftermath of a romance between Gibbs and Lala, and the appearance of characters such as Woody Browne and Dr. Ducky.
