Mark Lee launches ‘Mark Lee & Kids-POP’ project

Singer Mark Lee, a member of the group NCT, has launched a new content project titled ‘Mark Lee & Kids-POP’ via the Upper Room official YouTube channel. The project focuses on Mark interacting with children to listen to their stories and discover musical inspiration from their perspectives.

In the first episode, Mark reflected on his childhood love for Korean culture, noting that he frequently watched Big Bang’s ‘Haru Haru’ music video and enjoyed dramas such as ‘Boys Over Flowers’ and ‘Dream High’. He described Korea as his ‘dream country’ during his youth.

The episode also featured a segment where Mark attempted to guess the interests and concerns of elementary school students. He expressed surprise at the children's honest answers regarding topics like entrance exams, financial concerns, and personal identity. Mark noted that these insights could serve as song titles or lyrical inspiration, calling the project the ‘beginning of a beginning’.
