Singer Mark Medlock has canceled his scheduled appearance at the ‘Giovanni Zarrella Show’ in Mainz at the last minute. Despite having already arrived at the ZDF television garden venue, the 48-year-old musician had to depart following medical advice.

According to an official statement on the show’s Instagram account, Medlock’s physician expressly advised him against performing. The singer expressed that he is following this recommendation with a heavy heart.

The performance was intended to be a significant milestone in Medlock’s career comeback, which follows a decade-long hiatus from major stages. He had planned to preview his upcoming studio album, ‘Back Into the Sun’, which is scheduled for release on August 14. This marks his first studio album since 2017.
