Mark Municipality reports positive results from school development project

A final report from Karlstad University indicates positive outcomes following a two-year development project in Mark Municipality's schools. The initiative, conducted under the Swedish National Agency for Education's program ‘Collaboration for the Best School’, focused on improving teaching methods, safety, and organizational cooperation.

At Ängskolan and Fritslaskolan, teachers implemented new structures for lesson management and clearer learning objectives. Students reported increased engagement and more motivating instruction. The report also highlights improvements in student health services, specifically a more preventative approach and better coordination for students requiring additional support.
