Mark Nawaqanitawase leads Roosters to NRL Grand Final victory

Mark Nawaqanitawase secured the NRL premiership for the Sydney Roosters, scoring two tries to lead his team to a 19-18 victory over the Newcastle Knights in the Grand Final. His performance included a significant yardage contribution, with reports noting he gained hundreds of metres through hard carries and acrobatic finishes.

Following this successful stint in rugby league, the 26-year-old dual-code international is set to return to rugby union. He will join the Japanese side Saitama Wild Knights, a move that has drawn praise from former Wallabies teammates who believe his winning mentality and unique skill set will benefit the 15-man code and potentially aid his pursuit of a Wallabies call-up for the next Rugby World Cup.
