Mark Zuckerberg acquires Strancally Castle in Ireland

Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg and his wife, Dr. Priscilla Chan, have acquired Strancally Castle, a historic Gothic-style estate located in County Waterford, Ireland. The property spans approximately 178 hectares (440 acres) and was originally built in 1830 for John Keily.

While the exact sale price was not officially released, reports estimate the value of the estate to be between €20 million and €30 million. A spokesperson for the family stated that they are excited to care for the historic home and look forward to spending time in Ireland, where Meta maintains its international headquarters in Dublin.
