Artificial intelligence drives industrial and professional shifts

Artificial intelligence is driving significant transformations across multiple industrial and professional sectors. In the print and packaging industry, the 10th All in Print China trade fair is scheduled for October 12–16, 2026, at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre. The event will showcase advancements in automated production, sustainable materials, and AI-driven processes, featuring major global technology providers.

In the marketing and agency sector, a GWA whitepaper indicates that 80 percent of marketing managers intend to bring more services in-house due to AI efficiencies, particularly in research and content production. While this shifts the agency role toward strategic consulting, the report notes that mass job losses have not yet occurred; instead, new roles are emerging, though a lack of specialized talent remains a hurdle.

Technological developments are also advancing in software engineering and manufacturing. New frameworks are moving software development from simple AI-assisted coding toward structured, autonomous software factories. In production, the Fraunhofer IWU has introduced Orcha-3, an agentic AI platform designed to independently analyze and resolve complex errors in manufacturing process chains while maintaining data sovereignty.
