Markgröningen police seek witnesses after bus driver threatened

Police in Markgröningen are searching for witnesses following an incident where an unidentified man threatened a bus driver. The event occurred on August 12, 2026, around 1:30 PM on line 531.

According to police reports, the man missed his intended stop at Steinbeisstraße and demanded the 43-year-old driver stop the vehicle immediately. When the driver refused, the man shouted threats at her. He exited at the next stop, Bahnhofstraße, where he threatened the driver again before fleeing on foot toward Asperger Straße.

The suspect is described as approximately 180 centimeters tall, with a normal build and short dark-blonde hair. He was wearing a T-shirt and likely work trousers. Authorities are requesting that anyone with information contact the Markgröningen police station.
