Marko Šapit appointed marketing director for Croatian Water Polo Federation

Marko Šapit has been appointed as the new Director of Marketing and Public Relations for the Croatian Water Polo Federation.

Šapit transitions to this role from the Croatian Radiotelevision (HRT) sports program, where he served as an editor and gained extensive experience in sports journalism and television production. His new responsibilities will focus on enhancing communication with the public and partners, developing marketing projects, and promoting Croatian water polo, including its national teams, clubs, and athletes.

Šapit expressed that it is a great honor to join the federation, noting the sport's strong tradition and significant marketing potential. He highlighted his professional history with water polo, including covering world championship victories in Budapest in 2017 and Doha in 2024.
