Marko Šapit joins sports podcast Tribina

Renowned Croatian sports journalist and presenter Marko Šapit has joined the sports podcast ‘Tribina’ in a new hosting role. After completing projects related to the 2026 World Cup and the program ‘Americana’, Šapit stated he was seeking a new and different professional challenge.

Šapit, who has been a prominent figure at HRT and an editor for HTV's sports department since 2022, joins a team of analysts and journalists including Mihovil Topić, Josip Paušić, and Josip Korde. While his new role marks a significant move into the podcasting format, it remains unclear if this transition implies a departure from his long-standing career at HRT.
