Marko Bojković secures FNC lightweight title

Marko Bojković has become the new FNC lightweight champion following a 50-second knockout victory over Lom-Ali Eskiev at FNC 34 in Skopje.

Following the title win, several contenders have emerged to challenge Bojković. Michal "Mike" Figlak, a former UFC fighter from Poland, publicly expressed his intention to fight for the belt next year. However, Tajikistani fighter Karomatulo Sufiyev has also positioned himself as a primary challenger, prompting Figlak to urge him not to rush. Other potential contenders mentioned in the division include David Travniček and former champion Francisco Barrio.

Separately, the FNC organization has announced that former WBC world lightweight boxing champion Dejan Zlatičanin will compete at FNC 35 in Podgorica on November 7. Zlatičanin is scheduled to face Lupu under Ultimate Boxing rules, featuring five two-minute rounds in a cage setting with small gloves.
