Marko Gradiščaj finds employment as massage therapist in Čakovec

Marko Gradiščaj, a 26-year-old visually impaired individual, has successfully integrated into the workforce as a massage therapist in Čakovec. After facing difficulties finding employment following high school, Gradiščaj participated in a social entrepreneurship development project that provided him with professional training.

He has been working at a massage salon operated by the Association of the Blind of Međimurje County for four and a half years. The salon was established to facilitate work integration for the association's members. Marija Ciglar, president of the association, noted that while individuals with disabilities often have to prove themselves more rigorously to be valued as workers, they demonstrate high levels of dedication once employed.
