Marks & Spencer and H&M debut new collections at London Fashion Week

Major retailers Marks & Spencer and H&M showcased new collections during London Fashion Week, highlighting different approaches to seasonal trends.

Marks & Spencer made its debut at the event with a collection designed for everyday wear rather than high-fashion exclusivity. The range featured menswear and womenswear, including sharp tailoring, slouchy denim, and faux-fur accessories. A notable aspect of the debut was the pricing strategy, with half of the items costing less than £50 and the most expensive piece, a leather coat, priced at £450.

H&M presented its Autumn 2026 collection through its Studio and Atelier lines, centered on a “gothic-romantic” theme. The show, which utilized real-time fashion films to merge physical and digital elements, featured Victorian influences such as ruffles, draped florals, and sheer fabrics. The collection aimed to balance ethereal elements with grounded materials like leather and denim.
