Marks & Spencer debuts at London Fashion Week to boost fashion ambitions
Marks & Spencer is making its debut at London Fashion Week, showcasing a 57-look collection of menswear and womenswear. The collection, which draws inspiration from the brand's heritage and archive, is being released on a ‘see now, buy now’ basis, allowing customers to purchase items immediately through the retailer's website and 10 flagship stores across the UK and Ireland.
Under the leadership of CEO Stuart Machin, the company is pursuing a strategic transformation to boost its fashion, home, and beauty division. This includes targeting a significant increase in online sales and strengthening its digital and omnichannel capabilities. The fashion collection features various styles, with half of the pieces priced under £50.
In addition to its fashion expansion, Marks & Spencer continues to grow its physical retail presence, recently opening a new 14,600 sq ft food store in Sydenham, London. This opening has created over 50 local jobs and is part of a broader rollout of new stores across London.
